Policeman, Coast Guard member, arrested in P13.6-M worth shabu deal

A policeman, Staff Sergeant Siddih Lajahasan Alliudin, Jr., his wife, Mardie Abbas Alliudin and Philippine Coast Guard member Mohammad Sallie Lito Abbas were immediately detained after selling two kilos of shabu, worth P13.6 million, to anti-narcotics agents in Barangay Boalan in Zamboanga City at past 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

Their arrest was confirmed today, September 19, 2024, by Brig. Gen. Bowenn Joey Masauding, director of the Police Regional Office-9, who has jurisdiction over PRO-9’s Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and the Zamboanga City Police Office that carried out the operation that resulted in the arrest of the three suspects.

Masauding had also announced that community leaders aware of the large-scale shabu peddling of the three suspects and the office of Zamboanga City Mayor John Dalipe supported the successful entrapment operation, also assisted by intelligence units of the military’s Western Mindanao Command, whose headquarters is in Calarian, Zamboanga City.
